Michelle Bush

Shell, as she likes to be known, arrived in Perth two months ago from Dunedin in the deep south of New Zealand. Our impending cold season holds no fears for Shell and she is loving her Perth experience to date.

She shares her home here in Perth with her sister Katy, Mango the cat and Bella the dog. Back home she has Saffy, Onyx and Ally (all cats) and a turtle called Monty.

She has been a qualified vet nurse for three years (coming from a mixed practice background in Dunedin) and loves her job in the care of "all creatures great and small".

Shell's immediate plans involve working at Swanbourne furthering her skills and enjoying the ride. She replaces Kristy, our head nurse, who will be away for six months on maternity leave.

Good luck Shell, if what we have seen so far is any guide, she will be a great asset to the practice.
