Cameron was born in Scotland and emigrated to Australia with his family in the late 1980’s.

He attended Scotch College and graduated from Murdoch University Veterinary School in 2006.

His working career commenced in Geraldton/Karratha in a mixed practice following which he has done locums in the Perth metropolitan area over the last 12 months.

He is currently doing his post graduate membership (of the Australian College) in Animal Behaviour and sits his final exams in July 2010. This will make him one of only a handful of qualified veterinary behaviourists in Australia and the only practicing one in Perth at the time of writing.

He has lectured both veterinary students and veterinary nurses in animal behaviour and we look forward to tapping into this special interest in the practice.

He has done several locums here at Swanbourne and joins the practice as a permanent team member in April 2010. His parents are long term clients of Swanbourne with two German Shepherds and two Abyssinian cats.

His outside interests include playing the bagpipes, and he competes regularly at state and national level as well as doing numerous charity performances.

He is also an accomplished exponent of Aikido (martial art) having trained for 10 years and conducts classes in his spare time.

We welcome Cameron to Swanbourne and feel sure he will be a great success.
