These days anaesthesia at our hospitals has become very sophisticated. We use isoflurane gaseous anaesthetic machines with apalert monitors (to monitor the patient’s breathing) and pulse oximeters (to measure the oxygen saturation of the patient’s blood) to ensure that your pet’s anaesthetic is trouble free.
