Awareness Campaigns

From time to time in the media you will see that vets are highlighting preventive programs highlighting certain aspects of your best friend’s health for scrutiny over a week or month with give-aways and special offers. These often cover such things as Senior Pets, Arthritis, Dental Awareness, Weight control and so on.

We at the Swanbourne Veterinary Centre support these as they fit in with our overall strategy of preventive medicine… prevention is better than cure any day!

We would however like to point out that we promote these highlighted issues 12 months of the year, and, wherever possible offer the food give-aways, reduced laboratory fees (for tests to detect chronic renal disease in cats and so on) and incentives that are offered.

Therefore at the Swanbourne Veterinary Centre we are concerned with weight control, renal disease, dental health, arthritis, advancing age and everything else that affects the quality of life of our pets… 12 months of the year. Just ask us next time you come in.
